How can I prevent hyperthyroidism in my life?

The human body is an organic whole. If it is in harmony, it is healthy physically and mentally; if it is out of balance, disease will occur. It can be seen that good living habits, regular study and work, maintaining a balanced state of mind, avoiding strong mental trauma, preventing infections and other stressful conditions can prevent and reduce the occurrence of hyperthyroidism and aggravation of the disease. In life, the following measures can prevent the occurrence or aggravation of hyperthyroidism: 1. Avoid factors that trigger hyperthyroidism, such as not eating foods and drugs with high iodine content; enhance physical fitness and prevent colds to avoid causing thyroiditis with hyperthyroidism; take thyroid preparations (levothyroxine tablets and thyroid tablets) reasonably as needed to avoid pharmacogenic hyperthyroidism. 2. Avoid mental stimulation or trauma, develop good and regular habits of life, study and work, cultivate temperament and balance psychology. 3.Patients with hyperthyroidism have a high metabolic rate and consume a lot. It is advisable to eat high-protein, high-vitamin and high-calorie food to meet body needs. Pay special attention to supplementing B vitamins, including vitamin B1, B6, B12 and folic acid, etc. 4. Hyperthyroidism can lead to dehydration or low potassium periodic muscle paralysis due to excessive sweating and diarrhea, so attention should be paid to replenishing water and potassium salts and eating more fruits. 5.Smoking and alcohol have excitatory effects and have adverse effects on hyperthyroidism, so they should be avoided. 6. Patients with hyperthyroidism may have liver damage and granulocytopenia, and may also have secondary (or concomitant) diabetes mellitus, which should be observed and reviewed regularly for appropriate treatment.
