Today a case of spontaneous chronic subdural hematoma in a patient with leukemia leading to low platelets, whose symptoms worsened 14 days after receiving statin therapy, had to undergo surgery. In our previous successful treatment experience, we have cured patients with coagulopathy and chronic subdural hematoma due to self-free liver; chronic subdural hematoma due to minor trauma after cardiac stent implantation and cardiac valve replacement due to long-term oral anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs causing clotting mechanism disorder. However, today’s failed patient suggests to us that CSDH caused by tumors, especially hematologic tumors, is ineffective with our therapy.
