What to know about the sexual life of hemiplegic patients

Can hemiplegics maintain their sexual function? Foreign scholars investigated 49 women with hemiplegia, and the results showed that all of them could have sex after hemiplegia, and only 22% of them had a reduced number of sexual intercourse. During sexual intercourse, when orgasm was reached, there was a transient increase in heart rate, respiration and blood pressure. These changes are detrimental to hemiplegics with pre-existing X-vascular lesions, and individuals e may be at risk of reoccurring strokes. In order to prevent these conditions, the hemiplegic person must observe the following two points when having sex: first, it has been at least 6 weeks since the last stroke; second, the blood pressure has been stabilized below 24/14.7 kPa. It should also be noted that you should not have sex within 3 hours after a full meal; you should not have sex in a cold, hot, hot or cold environment, and you should not have sex in a state of fatigue. It is best to have sex the next morning after a night’s sleep, and then rest for 2 hours before getting up, to ensure safety.
