Temporomandibular joint disorder, what should I do?

Temporomandibular joint disorder can be caused by many factors, such as mental factors, misalignment of bite, lateral chewing and bad habits. Treatment is mostly conservative. We recommend you to avoid opening your mouth widely, including laughing and yawning, and you need to drag the jaw bone if you cannot avoid it. Severe pain requires oral anti-inflammatory drugs or pain medication together. If the pain cannot be relieved, we suggest that you go to the regular stomatology department for examination and take a film of the open and closed temporomandibular joint to see if there is an organic problem in the joint, if so, only surgery can be performed.
