Snoring, also known as snoring, snoring, common in life, but it is also a disease, a class of diseases caused by poor respiratory airflow after falling asleep, serious in medical terms known as sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome. The most direct reason for snoring is because of poor respiratory airflow, both obstruction and narrowing, specifically can be divided into the following three categories: the first category, is the central. We all know that breathing and heartbeat are controlled by the nerve center, and if the nerve center control is abnormal, these muscles in the throat are relaxed, the tongue slips down and falls back, will block the airway, and snoring occurs. This is more common in infants and children, especially premature babies, because the nervous system is not well developed. Adults, especially post-stroke patients, who did not snore before but started to do so after the disease, are also mostly due to this reason. The second category is obstructive. This is because of anatomical airway narrowing. Nasal obstruction caused by rhinitis, enlarged turbinates, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, and throat tumors can all lead to narrowing of the airway. The third category, the mixed type, includes both the first two factors. Therefore, snoring also includes many kinds of causes. If it is more serious and needs to be treated, the cause needs to be clarified first and then treated according to the cause.
