Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease, so you can go to the hospital to register cardiology for cardiovascular disease, or neurology for cerebrovascular disease. To confirm the diagnosis of hypertension, blood pressure should be measured for 3 consecutive days, and hypertension can be confirmed if the systolic blood pressure is ≥ 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure is ≥ 90 mmHg. To rule out secondary hypertension as adrenal disease, the tests to be completed include imaging of the adrenal glands and measurement of plasma aldosterone levels. In primary hypertension, there is usually a family history of hypertension, with the father, mother, brother or sister in the immediate family having a history of hypertension.
