How to Intervene in Cerebral and Spinal Vascular Disease

Cerebrovascular disease is a common and frequent disease that endangers human life and health. In China, cerebrovascular disease has risen to be the first deadly and disabling disease, and the age of onset tends to be younger. For the sake of people’s health, major hospitals in China have carried out interventional treatment of cerebral and spinal cord vascular diseases.        This method is mainly used for: (1) ischemic cerebrovascular disease: cerebral infarction, recurrent transient ischemic attacks (carotid artery and cerebral artery stenosis) with balloon dilation intra-arterial stent placement; acute cerebral thrombosis with emergency cerebral angiography and arterial thrombolysis treatment. (2) Hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease: intracranial aneurysm (spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage), cerebrovascular malformation (cerebral hemorrhage), dural arteriovenous fistula, cervical arteriovenous sinus fistula, etc., examination and spring coil embolization treatment. (3) Examination and embolization of spinal arteriovenous fistulas and vascular malformations. This method is painless, minimally invasive (microtrauma), and effective.
