After 34 weeks, as the fetus matures and the pressure in the uterine cavity gradually increases, pseudo contractions may occur. If the contractions are very frequent, for example, about 1 contraction in 10 minutes, there is a risk of preterm labor if they last for a long time. It is important for the patient to go to the hospital to check the frequency of contractions, the intensity of contractions, and the length of the cervical opening to determine if it can cause preterm labor. If this happens, the patient can be admitted to the hospital for treatment to suppress contractions. Oral contraction suppressants can also be observed at home. In any case, after 34 weeks of pregnancy, frequent contractions should be brought to the attention of the patient for active intervention, otherwise it may lead to preterm labor. However, there is no need to worry because after 34 weeks, the child is basically mature and the survival rate after birth is still very high.
