The difference between hand eczema and tinea versicolor lies in such aspects as different etiology and different clinical manifestations.
1. Etiology:
(1) hand eczema: the etiology is not clear, can be due to mental stimulation or atopic constitution and other endogenous factors as well as contact with soap, dry cold air, metal, rubber and other exogenous factors.
(2) ringworm: mainly caused by hand skin ringworm infection, mainly pathogenic bacteria Trichophyton rubrum is the main, common, such as red Trichophyton rubrum and so on.
2. Clinical manifestations:
(1) hand eczema: mainly manifested as itching, irregular erythema, papules and small blisters on both hands symmetrically, accompanied by desquamation. This disease can be recurrent.
(2) Ringworm of the hand: at the initial stage, it mainly manifests as the appearance of erythema and blisters on one side of the hand between the fingers and the palm of the hand, and then spreads to the opposite side, and the skin is rough and thickened with peeling and scaling, accompanied by itching.
