The causes of bulging nails in the central part of the nail are complex and different medications are needed for different causes.
In cases caused by trauma or nutritional deficiencies, no medication is needed and the nail will recover on its own after stopping the trauma and improving nutrition.
In cases caused by related dermatological conditions (e.g. nail fungus, psoriasis, etc.), topical or oral medication (e.g. antifungal ointment, glucocorticoid ointment, retinoid preparations, etc.) can be used under medical supervision.
For those caused by autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, anti-rheumatic drugs and glucocorticoids can be used under medical supervision.
