How to relieve chest tightness and shortness of breath

Relief of chest tightness, shortness of breath, and dyspnea requires medication that is specific to the cause. If it is caused by an acute attack of bronchial asthma, bronchodilators such as salbutamol sulfate aerosol, doxorubicin or terbutaline sulfate are needed. Glucocorticoids, such as methylprednisolone or dexamethasone, can also be added for severe symptoms. However, if chest tightness, shortness of breath and dyspnea are caused by cardiac insufficiency, cardiac strengthening, diuretic and vasodilator therapy are required. If the chest tightness, shortness of breath and dyspnea are caused by acute myocardial infarction, early interventional surgery should be performed to unblock the blocked coronary arteries in order to provide relief. Therefore, chest tightness, shortness of breath and dyspnea need to be clarified by timely improvement of allergen screening, lung function, lung CT, ECG, cardiac enzymes and other related tests.
