Fundus lesions do not cause pain to be felt at the bridge of the nose. Fundus lesions are diseases of the vitreous, retina and choroid. The vitreous and retinal tissues do not contain pain-sensing nerve fibers, and the choroidal tissues are usually insensitive to pain, so fundus disorders do not usually manifest as eye pain, much less pain in the bridge of the nose. The main manifestations of fundus disease are vision loss, visual field defects, and distorted vision. Once diagnosed with fundus disorders, timely treatment is necessary, such as surgery to remove vitreous hemorrhage and surgery to reset the retina in case of retinal detachment.
