Displacement may still occur one week after the fracture occurs. About one week after the fracture, there is no obvious bone crust connection at the fracture end, only local hematoma mechanization and fibrous connection. Therefore, the stability of the fracture end is still poor, which can lead to displacement of the fracture end when subjected to external force or weight, which is not conducive to smooth healing of the fracture, or even delayed healing or non-healing of the fracture. Therefore, local braking should be adhered to for about a week to avoid weight-bearing on the affected limb, otherwise serious adverse consequences may occur. During the process of immobilization, the patient should not forget to insist on rehabilitation training as well. Rehabilitation training can not only eliminate swelling, relieve pain and promote fracture healing, but also restore muscle strength and intensity, avoid muscle atrophy and play the role of muscle splinting.
