There are several examination methods for breast cancer, mainly local examination, as follows: 1) Breast palpation: It should be performed by a professional doctor to determine whether the patient is suffering from the disease based on the condition of the breast, and generally check the shape and texture of the breast, whether there is a lump or not, and the shape of the breast skin; 2) Ultrasound examination: Ultrasound examination can tell whether there is a lump in the breast, the size of the lump, the location of the lump, and the boundary of the lump to determine the nature of the lump. Ultrasound is the first choice for Asian people because of their denser breast glands. 3. However, for young women, the value of mammography cannot be effectively reflected because of the dense gland, therefore, mammography is usually chosen for breast cancer screening for women over 40 years old; 4.
