Gastroenteritis can be seen in the general internal medicine, gastroenterology or intestinal clinics. This disease is seasonal, especially in the summer, and is most often caused by unclean food and drink, with significant abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, and even fever. In this case, the patient can go to the intestinal clinic for intravenous rehydration and anti-infection treatment. For patients with long-term chronic gastroenteritis, they should visit the gastroenterology department for gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Because in clinical work, some patients may be caused by peptic ulcers, if ulcer disease has significant complications, including bleeding, perforation, or even induced scarring obstruction, this condition requires a visit to general surgery and, if necessary, surgery.
