What are supraventricular premature beats?

Supraventricular premature beats are atrial premature beats that originate from atrial agitation caused by any part of the atrium other than the sinus node, and may be caused by physiologic factors, organic heart disease, pharmacologic factors, electrolyte disorders, and medical factors. Most patients with atrial premature beats have no obvious symptoms. Common symptoms include palpitations, chest tightness, weightlessness, and a sense of cardiac arrest. Frequent premature beats can lead to fatigue and dizziness due to reduced cardiac output. 1. Physiological factors: premature impulses from ectopic pacing points can cause premature beats in normal people. 2. Organic heart disease: such as coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, mitral valve prolapse, heart failure. 3. Drug factors: such as digitalis, quinidine, tricyclic antidepressant poisoning. 4. Electrolyte disorders: such as low potassium, low magnesium. 5. Medical factors: heart surgery, cardiac catheterization can cause premature beats. If you feel unwell, you should consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying your condition.
