How many days does it take for the sperm to go in and get pregnant?

Whether and how long it takes for a sperm to get pregnant after entering a woman’s body is related to the menstrual cycle a woman is in, her physical condition and other factors, and needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. A woman’s menstrual cycle includes the menstrual phase, follicular phase, ovulation phase and luteal phase. Only when intercourse occurs during ovulation, the sperm meets the mature egg to form a fertilized egg, which successfully lays in the uterine cavity and then develops can pregnancy be considered. During female ovulation, sperm travels through the vagina, cervix and uterine cavity to reach the fallopian tubes, where it may unite with a mature egg and fertilize it in the abdomen of the fallopian tube, a process that usually takes 24-48 hours. After fertilization it usually takes 3-4 days for the fertilized egg to enter the uterine cavity from the fallopian tube and to settle and develop. Therefore, if a woman has intercourse during ovulation, she may become pregnant 3-5 days after the sperm enters her body. However, it is usually not possible to detect pregnancy at this time and a test for human chorionic gonadotropin 8-10 days after intercourse is needed to determine if pregnancy has occurred. If a woman is preparing for pregnancy, she can schedule intercourse during ovulation to increase her chances of conception. During the preparation period, you need to stop smoking and drinking, and take folic acid tablets in advance to prevent fetal neural tube abnormalities to some extent.
