The relationship between breast pain and breast cancer

Breast pain is the most common major symptom in breast surgery clinics. Most of the breast pain is caused by breast hyperplasia, while very few are caused by breast tumors. If the pain is caused by breast hyperplasia, most of them are swelling pain or pins and needles pain, the pain point is not clear, the pain can be mild or severe, and it can involve the shoulder and back, mostly obvious before menstruation, and in some cases, the pain is persistent. Only atypical hyperplasia and breast cancer have a clear relationship, and atypical hyperplasia is a disease that can only be identified under a microscope, which has no relationship with whether the breast is painful or not and the degree of pain. If the pain does significantly affect your daily work and life, you can take some short-term medication for hyperplasia to help relieve the symptoms, but it should not be taken for a long time. In addition to breast enlargement, some tumors of the breast may also cause breast pain. The most common benign tumor is fibroadenoma of the breast, which mostly occurs in adolescent women, and the tumor rolls back and forth like a rubber ball. Some fibroadenomas can be painful, especially when pressed. In addition, some patients with malignant breast tumors, i.e. breast cancer, sometimes feel pain, often due to the rapid growth of the tumor, and the pain is pins and needles, not very intense. However, it is important to know that breast cancer pain is very rare and the majority of patients have no pain. It can be seen that there is no relationship between breast pain and breast cancer. It can even be said that patients with painful breast lumps are more likely to be benign. However, women should not infer that there is no need to seek medical treatment for breast pain because there is still a part of pain caused by tumor. The reason for this is that you should take a scientific attitude towards medical treatment and not be overly nervous or avoid the disease in order to live a healthy life.
