What to do if your child snores

Snoring, also known as snoring and snoring disorder, is very common in life, but it is a kind of disease caused by poor breathing airflow in children’s sleep. The severity of snoring from different causes varies, so the treatment methods are also different, and there are mainly the following types of treatment methods from light to heavy: First, general treatment. Some relatively light snoring can be prevented by controlling weight and changing sleep posture. Secondly, targeted treatment. If the child has narrow nasal passage and enlarged tonsils, the restricted airflow obstruction can be corrected by adding positive pressure ventilation and oral orthodontic device during sleep. Third, surgical treatment. If the airway obstruction is really serious and localized, there are clear parts of the obstructive lesions such as severe tonsillar hypertrophy or pharyngeal tumors, etc., can be directly surgically removed to achieve the therapeutic effect. Fourth, the original disease treatment. That is, etiological treatment. The secondary snoring can be recovered by removing the cause. If the child snores because of the presence of diseases such as rhinitis and other upper respiratory tract infections, the symptoms of snoring will disappear after the use of antibiotics and other drugs to treat the primary inflammatory nature of the primary respiratory tract. There are more ways to treat snoring, but first the cause should be clarified, the type of cause should be found through examination, and then the most appropriate treatment should be chosen according to the cause.
