Currently, targeted drugs for nasopharyngeal cancer mainly include monoclonal drugs and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Monoclonal drugs include cetuximab, panitumumab, bevacizumab, nitrozumab, etc. Most of these monoclonal targeted drugs need to be combined with chemotherapy to achieve the best therapeutic effect. Another class of targeted drugs are tyrosine kinase inhibitors, such as gefitinib, erlotinib, afatinib, etc. However, these drugs are still in the clinical research stage for the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and cannot completely replace chemotherapy yet.
