Nasopharyngeal cancer is a relatively common type of malignant tumor of the head and neck with many symptoms. Some patients may have blood in the nose, i.e., snotty blood, but this does not happen every day. Symptoms of nasal blood may manifest as recurrent and paroxysmal, which may last for a few days with or without, with some individual differences. Patients may also have symptoms such as nasal congestion, headache, loss of vision, and dry and painful nasal cavity. In early stage of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, patients will start to have blood in the nose without notice, which occurs occasionally, mainly in the morning. As the tumor progresses and gradually increases in size, the mass may rupture and bleed, and the tumor is more brittle and more prone to rupture and bleeding, the symptoms of blood in the nose will worsen and increase in frequency than early stage. When patients with nasopharyngeal cancer have blood in the nose, such as blood when sucking back the nose or blowing the nose with blood, it is not allowed to blow the nose violently. It is recommended to go to the hospital for medical treatment in time and follow the medical prescription for appropriate anti-tumor treatment, including radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. The earlier the disease is treated and the less severe it is, the more effective the treatment will be.
