How to correct severe asymmetry on both sides of the face

Asymmetry between the two sides of the face is mostly caused by different sizes of facial bones or different sizes of bite muscles and certain diseases, which can be corrected by the following methods. If there is a serious asymmetry on both sides of the face, the first thing to consider is a facial lesion, such as a tumor growing on one side of the face. This condition can usually be clearly determined and can only be corrected through disease treatment or surgical removal of facial growths. If the condition is not caused by a disease, there are several possibilities. Some people like to use one side of the teeth to chew food, and if they do so for a long time, the bite muscle on that side of the face becomes more developed, and the left and right sides become asymmetrical. In this regard, you can consciously use the other side of the teeth and chew evenly on both sides, and there will be an adjustment after a period of time. Meanwhile, the growth of wisdom teeth may also lead to facial asymmetry. If one side grows with wisdom teeth and the other side does not, the cheeks on the side with wisdom teeth will become larger and can be corrected by extracting them. In addition, the face bone is not the same from left to right can also cause this problem. Mostly caused by congenital factors, some people have asymmetrical facial bones, resulting in differences in the shape of the left and right faces. Such cases usually need to be adjusted through orthopedic bone grinding or plastic surgery, relying on massage and other methods usually have no effect. If the deformation of the face is caused by a lesion, it can only be restored by surgery or treatment. If it is a problem with the bite muscle or wisdom teeth, it can be solved by balancing the bite muscle or removing the wisdom teeth. If the facial bones are not of the same size, plastic surgery is required.
