4, clean mouth Develop the habit of rinsing and brushing your teeth regularly, and brush your teeth with a soft-bristled toothbrush after each meal. Rinse with light salt water more often. Gargle with gargling drugs when there is pain in the oropharynx.
5.Patients with nasal cavity and nasopharyngeal cancer should rinse nasal cavity with warm salt water 1-2 times a day to remove secretions and keep nasal cavity clear.
6.In order to prevent temporomandibular joint stiffness and dysfunction, you should be persistent and do mouth opening exercise more than 100 times a day.
7.Take a high protein, high vitamin, easy to digest diet, avoid overheating, too cold and hard, rough food. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Do not smoke and drink. For dry mouth, use honeysuckle and chrysanthemum to make tea. Take vitamin B, C, E, cod liver oil by mouth or eat more foods rich in vitamins.
8, protect the skin of the radiation field. Avoid wiping the irradiated field skin with soap and coarse towels; avoid hot and cold stimulation, do not use hot water bags or hot compresses locally; wear hats and umbrellas when going out in summer to prevent direct sunlight.
9.If there is any change in condition, go to the emergency department in time if necessary.
Caution after radiation therapy: 1.Regular review: within 2-3 years after radiation therapy, review every 3 months; within 5 years, review every 6 months; after 5 years, review every 1 year.
2.Pay attention to oral hygiene, do not extract teeth within 2-3 years after radiotherapy, and fill teeth.
3, 2-3 months after radiotherapy, pay attention to protect the skin of radiotherapy field.
