The common cause of pancreatitis is cholelithiasis, and the common triggers are overeating, heavy alcohol consumption, and high-fat diet; the main measure in treatment is to suppress pancreatic secretion, and the diet should be controlled in the early stage, after which a light diet can be gradually restored. In case of recurrent attacks, chronic pancreatitis can be caused. In chronic pancreatitis, imaging features such as dilated pancreatic duct, segmental stenosis of pancreatic duct and stones in pancreatic duct can be seen. Pancreatitis is not a common cause of pancreatic cancer, and in turn recurrent pancreatitis cannot be used as a judgment factor for pancreatic tumor, which can be clinically determined by imaging + biochemical examination (CA199). Pancreatitis should be treated formally for about 2 weeks.
