Indications for Gamma Knife for Meningioma

  1.Meningioma growing at the base of the skull or deep inside the brain and difficult to be completely cut by surgery; 2.The average diameter of the tumor is less than 30mm; 3.The tumor edge must be more than 5mm from the optic nerve, optic cross and optic bundle; 4.Multiple meningiomas, meningiomas remaining or recurring after surgery; 5.Patients with advanced age (>70 years old) and imaging data confirming the continuous growth of the tumor; 6.Patients with heart, lung, kidney, hematological system diseases or Patients who are contraindicated to surgery or cannot tolerate surgery, such as diabetes mellitus.
