Treatment of multiple fractures of the femur with anatomical locking plates of the proximal femur

The patient was a 49-year-old male with “right thigh pain and impaired movement for 6 days due to a car accident.” He was admitted to the hospital. On admission, a large epidermal abrasion was seen in the right anterior thoracic region, measuring 10X10CM, without bleeding or exudate. The right knee was swollen, with pressure pain and bone rubbing sensation, and the right knee flexion and extension were obviously limited. The pelvic compression and separation test (-) was performed. He was treated with “limited incisional repositioning of the proximal femur with anatomical locking plate internal fixation” after completing relevant examinations. X-ray examination 2 months after surgery showed good alignment of the fracture, growth of bone scabs and good position of internal fixation. Pre-operative radiography Post-operative radiography at 2 months
