1.After applying an eye ointment about the size of a green pea to the conjunctival sac, compress the tear sac area (inner corner of the eye) for about 5 to 10 minutes to prevent the eye ointment from being absorbed systemically through the nasal mucosa. 2, after applying eye ointment children should reduce strenuous activities, try to sleep before or after sleep application. 3.After applying eye ointment, the pupils will be dilated and the child will have a fear of light and blurred vision, so try not to watch TV, computers, cell phones and other electronic products, and wear sunglasses or a sun hat when you go out. 4. Most children’s pupils will return to normal in about one month after using eye ointment. A few children may take a little longer to recover. 5. Some children may experience allergies and fever after local application of eye ointment. If this occurs, the remaining ointment in the eye should be flushed out with water and treated symptomatically.
