Treatment of paraneoplastic syndrome

The treatments for paraneoplastic syndrome include surgical resection of the tumor, anti-hormonal drugs, correction of electrolyte disorders, stabilization of blood sugar, diuresis and other symptomatic treatments. 1. Paraneoplastic syndrome, also known as paraneoplastic syndrome, mostly manifests metabolic symptoms, and the most effective way is to surgically remove the tumor so as to correct the clinical symptoms. 2. If surgery is not possible due to the location of the tumor and the depth of infiltration, anti-hormone synthesis or secretion drugs such as immunosuppressants (e.g. cyclosporine) and steroid hormones (e.g. methylprednisolone tablets) should be chosen. 3. Some patients with paraneoplastic syndrome have electrolyte disorders and hyperglycemia, etc. Symptomatic treatment should be given to maintain the water-electrolyte-acid-base balance of the body. If there is hypokalemia, oral potassium citrate oral solution or intravenous supplementation of potassium chloride should be given; if there is hypocalcemia, calcium gluconate solution should be given; if hypoglycemia, intravenous supplementation of glucose should be given. The above treatments should be used under the guidance of a doctor and should not be used without authorization.
