How long can you live with enucleation cancer?

The survival time of oral cancer patients should be determined according to the disease stage and treatment. Oral cancer is a general term for malignant tumors in oral area, mostly squamous epithelial cell carcinoma, which is a common clinical malignant tumor of the head and neck. The survival time of patients with this disease is mainly determined according to the disease stage and treatment at the time of discovery. When the early stage tumor is relatively limited and has not metastasized, the effect is better after surgical resection and lymphatic clearance, and the 5-year survival rate of patients can reach 80%-90%. If no treatment is given, or if the tumor has already reached the middle and late stage when it is discovered and the opportunity for surgery is lost, the survival time of patients is relatively short, about 0.5-2 years. Early detection and early treatment have a greater impact on the survival time of oral cancer patients. The most typical symptom in early stage is oral ulcers that cannot heal for more than 2 weeks. Patients are advised to go to the stomatology department of hospital for examination immediately when this symptom occurs to exclude the possibility of tumor.
