Are oral and maxillofacial tumors common?

In general, the statistics in 1994 showed that the mortality rate of cancer in China was the 1st in urban and the 2nd in rural areas. In terms of maxillofacial tumors alone, there is no exact unified survey data so far. However, according to the local urban survey, the incidence rate of oral cancer is (1.0~3.0)/100,000, which indicates that its incidence rate is not high; however, due to the large population in China, the number of clinical incidence of oral and maxillofacial tumors is not a minority. Studies in some developed countries have shown that the incidence of oral cancer is increasing year by year, and this trend can be reflected to other countries and regions in the near future.
