Individualized excimer laser surgery versus regular excimer laser surgery

General excimer laser surgery: The laser treatment is performed mainly based on the optometry, corneal curvature and pupil size in your examination results, and the data is input directly on the excimer laser. Data processing is simple and fast. Individualized laser surgery (corneal topography or wavefront aberration guidance): mainly based on the results of your examination results such as optometry, corneal topography, wavefront aberration and the size of the pupil in the bright chamber and the pupil in the dark chamber into the special FINALFIT software, use the software to design the laser cut and make a prediction (i.e. you can see your post-operative results in advance), adjust the corneal surface cut according to the prediction (e.g. After obtaining a satisfactory result, the data generated by the software is then transferred to the excimer laser for laser cutting. The process is simple: a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the cornea and whole eye refraction is performed, the results are imported into the FINALFIT software, and the software’s special features are used to precisely design the cornea to achieve the best possible results. This improves surgical accuracy; makes more economical use of corneal tissue and safer; and reduces the impact on night (driving) vision.
