If there are lymph nodes in the postoperative review of thyroid cancer, the first thing to look at is the size and texture of the lymph nodes and the pathological results of the puncture. If the short diameter of lymph nodes after thyroid cancer review is ≥15mm, which is 1.5cm, and the texture is hard and less mobile, lymph node puncture is needed as soon as possible. If cancer cells can be found, it can be clearly identified as postoperative lymph node recurrence and metastasis of thyroid cancer, and then lymph node dissection can be redone for thyroid cancer combined with lymph node metastasis. If you refuse to undergo surgical resection, you can also treat lymph node metastasis with postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy or iodine-131 therapy. Of course, if the lymph node puncture does not find cancer cells and the lymph nodes are relatively small, dynamic observation and follow-up can be done because not all enlarged lymph nodes are recurrence or metastasis of thyroid cancer after surgery, but benign diseases can also have enlarged lymph nodes.
