Is the absence of fever a new coronary pneumonia suspect?

If clinical symptoms of fever are not present, the possibility of a suspected patient cannot be excluded. Pneumonia in patients with novel coronavirus infection is characterized by fever, malaise, and dry cough; a few patients have symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and diarrhea. The diagnosis should not be confirmed by fever alone, but also by laboratory tests, such as real-time fluorescent RT-PCR of respiratory specimens or blood specimens positive for novel coronavirus nucleic acid. For suspected and confirmed cases, they should be treated in isolation in designated hospitals with effective isolation and protection conditions. Suspected cases should be treated in single person and single room isolation, while confirmed cases can be admitted in the same ward.
