Patient: Description of the condition (onset time, main symptoms, hospital visited, etc.): I went to the north around 2010.2 and came back with no airflow through my nose. I thought it was a cold and didn’t pay attention to it. It hasn’t improved until now. However, I went to the hospital to see the rhinitis, there are medications and injections are not good. Today, I went to the first hospital and said that the nasal polyps are more on one side and less on the other. Now I am using budesonide nasal spray. How much does it cost to have a nasal polyp removed? Is it good? Cai Xiaolan, Department of Otolaryngology, Qilu Hospital, Shandong University

Rhinitis can not be cured simply by taking medicine and injections.
If there are nasal polyps, it is recommended that:
1) nasal hormone spray for 1-3 months, observe whether the nasal polyps have shrunk or disappeared;
2) If sinusitis is recurrent and persistent, we recommend general anesthesia nasal endoscopic surgery;
3) After surgery, nasal polyps still have a certain tendency to recur; it is recommended to a. adhere to the use of nasal hormones 1-3 years, b. nasal endoscopic review 3 years after surgery, to observe whether there is recurrence.
(4) Systematic regular general anesthesia nasal endoscopic surgery for nasal polyps, at least 10,000 yuan.
