Nasal polyps are a common clinical condition and are a type of chronic sinusitis. For those with significant nasal congestion symptoms, surgical treatment is required. Nowadays, with the increasing improvement of nasal endoscopic surgery technology, nasal polyp removal surgery is operated via nasal endoscopy. The surgical procedure is roughly divided into two steps: First, remove the obvious polyp tissue in the nasal cavity and keep the pathological specimen. Second, open all groups of sinuses to minimize the recurrence rate. Specific surgical methods for removal of nasal polyps, the following are commonly used: a. trap removal method; b. electric cutter-sucker removal method; c. low-temperature plasma ablation method; d. sieve clamp, tissue clamp removal method. Nasal polyps are diseases that cannot be completely cured, especially in polyps with eosinophilic infiltrated tissue, which are prone to recurrence.
