Is it normal to grow up with developmental delay?

Growth retardation refers to the slowing down or abnormal sequence of growth and development. The incidence is between 6% and 8%. Children can develop normally in a normal internal and external environment, but all factors that are detrimental to their growth can affect their development to varying degrees, resulting in growth retardation. The main factors are physical developmental delay, motor developmental delay and language developmental delay. Early after birth, all systems are still growing and developing, so the younger the abnormality is, the better the early intervention and rehabilitation treatment. If mothers find that their babies are developmentally delayed, they must take their babies for examination and treatment in a timely manner. It is possible to return to normal by choosing the right treatment in a timely manner. Once this developmental stage is missed, it is difficult to reach the normal developmental level. Some common treatment options are as follows: 1, nutritional deficiencies should be reasonable nutrition, comprehensive and balanced diet, develop good eating habits, promote appetite, etc. 2. Systemic diseases should be actively treated for primary diseases. 3.Familial dwarfism, idiopathic dwarfism and somatic growth retardation through various conditioning to give full play to growth potential, growth hormone can be used as appropriate. 4. Congenital genetic and metabolic diseases such as hypothyroidism, pituitary dwarfism, congenital ovarian hypoplasia, and less-than-gestational age children should be treated with corresponding special treatment and symptomatic treatment. For children with growth retardation, we should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible after early detection and early intervention, some of which will be relieved after treatment.
