Severe cases of neoconiosis worsen after one week and are most severe at about 9-12 days. New coronary pneumonia is characterized by fever, dry cough, malaise, and in a few cases, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, myalgia, and diarrhea. Severely ill patients tend to develop respiratory distress and/or hypoxemia one week after onset, which can rapidly progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis and bleeding and coagulation dysfunction, and multi-organ failure in severe cases. Therefore, the disease should be closely observed within one week of onset to detect serious cases as early as possible. The extreme stage of the disease is about 9-12 days. Therefore, do not take it lightly even if the symptoms are not severe at the beginning of the disease.
