A blood uric acid of 567 μmol/L is not normal.
Blood uric acid is an end product of purine metabolism within the body. The reference range of blood uric acid may vary somewhat depending on the test method used and the age of the person being tested. Adult enzyme-assayed serum (plasma) uric acid concentrations range from 150 to 416 umol/L for men and 89 to 357 umol/L for women.
A blood uric acid of 567 μmol/L is considered elevated and abnormal. Patients need to have a low purine diet, avoiding high purine food intake such as animal offal, seafood, and thick broth, drinking plenty of water, and exercising appropriately.
It is recommended that patients who still have high uric acid after dietary and lifestyle adjustments should go to the hospital in a timely manner for standardized diagnosis and treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
