Is breast itching a precursor to cancer?

  Itchy breasts are usually found around the nipples and areolas, and mainly in women who are breastfeeding. Breast itch is not a precursor of cancer, but is mainly caused by the stimulation of the breast and its nipple.  The reasons for its formation are roughly divided into the following three types: 1. Inflammation caused by inflammation, especially in primiparous women, nipples not regularly cleaned, or congenital diseases such as nipple indentation, poorly ventilated milk ducts, long-term accumulation of milk or milk attached to the nipples, resulting in inflammation, causing bacterial infection, which causes eczema and produces nipple itch.  2, eczema of the nipple areola, in particular, did not form a good breastfeeding habits, infants frequently sucking nipples, causing nipple chaps, nipples in a long-term wet state, thus causing eczema.  3, caused by allergies, which include allergies to underwear materials, as well as a small number of mothers temporarily allergic to the saliva of their infants and children, can cause itchy nipples and areolas. Usually, if breast cancer appears in the clinic, it is usually a painless lump in the breast with a hard texture, rough surface, poor mobility, adhesion to the surrounding tissues and unclear boundary, and some patients also have “orange peel” and “dimple” signs. Some patients will have “orange peel” and “dimple” signs. Some patients may have swollen lymph nodes in the armpit, which usually indicates metastasis of breast cancer. Therefore, itchy breast is not a symptom to determine the precursor of cancer.  In daily life, attention needs to be paid to breast hygiene and health care. Normally, you can clean your breasts with warm boiled water. It is advisable to select soft and breathable cotton products, and you should take off your bra before going to bed to avoid excessive pressure on the nipples and breasts, which may cause itching.
