What is the difference between gingivitis and gum cancer?

Gingivitis is an infectious disease caused by microorganisms that accumulate in plaque in the neck of the teeth and in the gum sulcus and generally causes bleeding, hyperplasia or recession of the gums and a change in the colour of the gums with bright red or dark red free gums and gingival papillae.
In addition to the condition of ulceration, bleeding and swelling, gum cancer may have long-term ulcers that do not heal, floating and painful teeth, tissue biopsy and cytological pathology for confirmation of the diagnosis.
