Best time to abort an ectopic pregnancy

The principle of treatment for ectopic pregnancy is early detection and early treatment. Once an ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed, the patient should be treated actively and the doctor needs to carry out conservative treatment or surgical treatment according to the patient’s condition. Early ectopic pregnancy is more difficult to detect, and patients may have symptoms such as pain in the left lower abdomen or right lower abdomen, even with tearing sensation and irregular vaginal bleeding. In the early stage, when blood is drawn to check the HCG value, the HCG value in ectopic pregnancy is slightly lower than that in women with normal pregnancy, or even decreases, and the increase is relatively slow. Therefore, the early stage can be combined with the above symptoms for preliminary judgment. The final diagnosis can be made by ultrasound or laparoscopy on the 40th day of pregnancy, when no fetal sac is seen in the uterine cavity but a mass can be found in the adnexal area. Once ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed, treatment should be taken immediately, and the earlier the treatment, the better the results to avoid rupture and bleeding. Once rupture of ectopic pregnancy occurs, there may be a lot of pelvic bleeding, which may endanger the patient’s life in serious cases, so patients should seek early diagnosis and active treatment.
