Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in clinical practice. The AF Center, led by renowned electrophysiologist Prof. Liu Xu, has completed more than 15,000 ablations since it was the first to perform AF catheter ablations in China in 1998, setting a number of firsts: the first center to have more than 1,000 ablations per year (2010), and the first one to have a total of more than 10,000 ablations (2012), and the first to have more than 10,000 ablations. Since the establishment of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Atrial Fibrillation Diagnosis and Treatment Center in 2010, it has been 5 years since the establishment of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Atrial Fibrillation Center. On the occasion of the establishment of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Atrial Fibrillation Center for 5 years, Prof. Liu Xu, in the experience of diagnosing and treating 100,000 cases of atrial fibrillation, has condensed and put forward the 3 three points of view of the atrial fibrillation patients, and the three three points of view of the atrial fibrillation patients are simple and graphic summarization of occurrence, development, and treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation: Point of view 1: Atrial fibrillation has 3 hazards, cerebral infarction, heart failure, and impact on quality of life, Heart failure and affect the quality of life; Viewpoint 2: Atrial fibrillation is divided into 3 phases, paroxysmal, persistent and chronic; Viewpoint 3: Atrial fibrillation has 3 clinical characteristics, more and more serious, medication (Chinese and western medicine) is not good, catheter ablation is the only way.
