Whether rectal polyps will cause abdominal pain, based on the size of the patient’s polyps, as well as benign polyps, malignant and other factors to make an objective analysis. First, if the patient’s rectal polyps are small in size, they are benign lesions, which usually do not cause intestinal blockage and intermittent blood in the stool, and do not cause abdominal pain and bloating. The changes of polyps can be closely observed through regular review of colonoscopy, and if the polyps are found to increase in size, endoscopic polypectomy can be considered. Second, if the patient’s polyp volume is too large caused by intestinal blockage, and the polyp is a malignant tumor, in this case the patient will appear abdominal pain, abdominal distension, intermittent blood in the stool clinical performance. It is suggested that patients should undergo laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer plus lymph node dissection as soon as possible, and the combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy after surgery can achieve better treatment effect.
