Stage III colon cancer is recommended to have 8 chemotherapy sessions after surgery. Currently, there are more chemotherapy regimens, generally capecitabine combined with oxaliplatin is often used, and the total chemotherapy time is six months, divided into 8 sessions, that is, 1 session of chemotherapy every 3 weeks. The patient will be given one dose of oxaliplatin intravenously and capecitabine orally during the patient’s hospitalization, followed by 2 weeks of oral capecitabine, followed by a 1-week break after the 2 weeks of oral medication, and then another dose of oxaliplatin in combination with capecitabine in the third week of chemotherapy. Patients may experience nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and a decrease in white blood cells during the course of chemotherapy, and should be reviewed regularly.
