Treatment of granulomatous labyrinthitis

Granulomatous labyrinthitis is characterized by hypertrophy of the lips. Its etiology is unknown and most believe that it may be related to genetics, vasoconstriction disorders regulated by the autonomic nervous system, infectious lesions, infections, and allergic reactions. In the past, it was generally believed that local application of adrenocorticotropic drugs was simple, effective and safe. However, it has become a difficult point of treatment due to its relapse. In recent years, anti-microbial drugs, antihistamines, anti-rheumatoid drugs, Chinese herbal medicines and laser irradiation have been used, which are clinically effective, but difficult to cure. At present, in China, our department is the first to use Pingyangmycin to treat granulomatous labyrinthitis, and after 5 or 6 years of clinical observation, it shows that its treatment is effective and can effectively control recurrence, please see my case of labyrinthitis: granulomatous labyrinthitis treatment.
