Breast cancer is one of the common malignant tumors among women, mostly occurring in women around the age of 40-60, before and after menopause. The treatment of breast cancer is mostly based on the different staging of the patient, and for locally advanced breast cancer, preoperative adjuvant therapy can be applied before surgery, while for advanced stage not suitable for surgery, systemic medication plus symptomatic treatment should be the main treatment. The advanced breast cancer is divided into unresectable locally progressive breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer. The main treatment methods are as follows: 1. Unresectable locally progressive breast cancer: Because there is no distant metastasis, there is still a possibility of cure. Systemic treatment can be performed before surgery and local radiotherapy, and its systemic treatment mainly includes chemical drugs, endocrine drugs and biological therapy. If the neoadjuvant systemic treatment is effective, mastectomy plus axillary lymph node dissection can be considered. 2.Metastatic breast cancer: ①Liver metastasis: systemic treatment is mostly recommended, local treatment is optional, laser-induced thermotherapy, selective internal irradiation, arterial embolization chemotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, etc. as a supplement. ②Malignant pleural effusion: systemic treatment and local treatment are recommended. ③Bone metastases: for those with limited lesions, endocrine or chemotherapy can be used to maintain local radiation therapy as a supplement. ④Central nervous system metastasis: patients without cerebral edema can be given radiation therapy after CT localization, and drugs that can pass the blood-brain barrier should be chosen to work. Those with cerebral edema can be controlled with mannitol and corticosteroids first.
