Scarco can inhibit scar growth and is usually best used after the wound has healed. Scarque is a silicone gel that treats scars by forming a skin-like film on the skin surface, reducing evaporation of skin moisture, inhibiting capillary regeneration, and giving a certain amount of pressure to the scar, thus inhibiting scar growth. The use of scar gram should be applied immediately after the wound heals (e.g. after the wound stitches are removed, or after the wound scabs fall off), and preferably until the scar is stable and mature, the whole process may take about one year. Scarco is more effective for early scars with high mobility (e.g. joint areas), facial or moist areas, and for larger scars that have already formed need to be combined with other treatment modalities to achieve better results. Therefore, scarke should be used immediately after the trauma is healed and should be adhered to until the scar is mature. However, if the scars are not well controlled, or continue to increase in size, or have formed larger scars, it is recommended to combine with other modalities under the guidance of a professional dermatologist for active treatment and to adhere to the treatment.
