The prostate embolization technique is more mature in China, the prostate embolization mainly uses the minimally invasive interventional way, through digital subtraction angiography to show the anatomical structure of the prostate artery, through the interventional way to embolize the artery supplying blood to the prostate, to a certain extent to make the prostate tissue ischemic and atrophy, to achieve the purpose of improving the patient’s lower urinary tract symptoms. The efficacy is up to about 12 months, which is a minimally invasive prostate treatment option, but not the mainstream treatment option taken by most. Compared to the mainstream prostate electrosurgery and prostate artery embolization, the complication rate after prostate artery embolization is lower, but prostate electrosurgery, some of the postoperative values, such as maximum urinary flow rate and prostate symptom scores are mostly better than prostate artery embolization. The prostate artery embolization needs to be performed in a regular hospital, and different procedures need to be chosen depending on the patient’s age, specific physical condition, and the size of the prostate.
