For the source of the novel coronavirus, there is currently some relationship with a large seafood and animal market according to limited investigations, and the virus may have originated from wild animals that were sold illegally. Since these wild animals are not safely quarantined, they may all carry this pathogen and become vectors for disease transmission. The type of virus was found in bats, and it is speculated that the natural host of this novel coronavirus may be bats.
