Follow-up of common gynecologic malignancies

I. Cervical cancer Follow-up time: 1st year after discharge, 1st follow-up 1 month after discharge, 1 time every 3 months in subsequent months. In the second year, once every 3-6 months; in the third to fifth year, once every six months; after the fifth year, once a year. Contents of follow-up: general health status, gynecological examination, general superficial lymph node examination, cervical or vaginal stump exfoliation cytology/histology examination, pelvic and abdominal ultrasound/CT, chest X-ray, blood routine, blood biochemistry, etc. II. Ovarian malignant tumor Follow-up time: In the first year after discharge, the first follow-up 1 month after discharge, and every 1-2 months thereafter. In the second year, once every 3 months; in the third year, the follow-up period was extended appropriately, but the patient was seen at any time when there were abnormal symptoms or ascites or pelvic and abdominal masses. Follow-up contents: general health status, gynecological examination, general superficial lymph node examination, serum tumor markers (CA125, CEA, AFP, etc.), blood routine, blood biochemistry, pelvic and abdominal ultrasound/CT, chest X-ray, etc. Endometrial cancer Follow-up time: In the first year after discharge, the first follow-up examination will be held 1 month after discharge, and every 3 months thereafter. In the 2nd year, once every 3-6 months. In the 3rd to 5th year, once every 6 months to 1 year. Follow-up: pelvic examination, vaginal exfoliative cytology, chest X-ray (once every 6 months to 1 year), serum CA125 examination, and depending on different cases, CT, MRI, etc. Malignant trophoblastic tumor Follow-up time: Blood HCG should be checked once a week for 3 months after cervical surgery and during chemotherapy, and once every 15 d after 3 months. In the first year after stopping chemotherapy, check once a month. In the second year, once every 3 months. For the 2nd-5th years, once every 6 months. 5 years without recurrence was considered as a cure. Follow-up contents: general health status, menstrual status, fertility status, gynecological examination, chest X-ray, blood HCG, etc.
